Conveniently located just minutes from downtown and Pittsburg State University, Dr. Clark and his team here at Pet Care & Surgery Center provide comprehensive veterinary care for pets throughout the region, including Radley, Atlas, Frontenac, and Yale. We welcome dogs and cats as well as birds, rabbits, and pocket pets. As a full-service animal hospital, we have the knowledge and experience to handle nearly all cases. We’re also the only clinic in the city that offers ultrasounds.

Meet Dr. Clark

Dr. Clark graduated at the top of his class and has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 15 years. A Crawford County native, he returned to the area after earning his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Clark is dedicated to providing exceptional care and his undivided attention to patients and their owners during every appointment.

Dr. Clark is a skilled surgeon and can perform a wide variety of soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures in-house for his patients. From routine spaying and neutering to complex orthopedic operations like TTA for cruciate ligament repair, your pet is in good hands with us. We will take every precaution to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety every step of the way.

We’ve been going to Pet Care Surgery Center for over five years. Dr. Clark and his staff always do a great job with our pets. We recently had to say goodbye to our dog in April, and we were treated with so much love and respect from the staff and Dr. Clark. They have always tried to fit us in for emergencies and accidents as well!

Dr Clark & his staff are absolutely hands down the best vet office around. My Charlie boy was misdiagnosed by a local vet. I was told Charlie was at the end of life at the age of 6. I took the leap for a second opinion & I’m so grateful that I did. Dr Clark has made it possible for Charlie to have a longer life now. I will forever be grateful & will NEVER go to another vet. I met Dr.Clark many, many years ago when he was providing services for the animal shelter in town. He is an amazing veterinarian and has been our exclusive provider for over a decade. Both he and his staff are some of the kindest, most professional and knowledgeable you will ever find. The level of care provided is always above and beyond - so much so that even after relocating an hour away to another state - we still happily make the trip for the best possible care in the 4 states.

Dr. Clark and his staff are wonderful! My one- year-old cat fractured his right femur. Even though we’re from out of town, Dr. Clark worked Paulie into his surgery schedule quickly and gave him excellent care. His staff is courteous and efficient. Thank you so much!
